FAQ
- What should I expect at my first appointment?
I will begin by asking you some general health questions. Then we will discuss what trouble spots we will be working on. Then I will leave the room and give you time to get on the table and cover yourself with a sheet. I will apply oil or lotion to help reduce the friction during the massage on your muscles. Your job is to close your eyes and relax, concentrate on your breathing. When your massage is done, I will leave the room again to give you time to dress. Afterwards you will need to drink water to help flush out toxins from your body. You should feel refreshed and invigorated after the massage. - What do I wear to a massage?
Wear comfortable clothing. For the massage, you will disrobe to your comfort level. You will always have your privacy. You will be draped at all times, except for the area being worked on. - Will a massage hurt?
My philosophy is not "no pain, no gain". I may find a knot in a muscle and slowly work deeper on it. I want to reach the point of "that hurts so good". If it is painful, just let me know. I will adjust the pressure to a more appropriate level. - What are your hours of operation?
